Eugene has an MBA, a Ph.D., and is a registered Professional Chemist. He was a mechanic and works mainly in the oilfield sector, many of his experienced areas are: Oilfield drilling, drill-in, completion, production technology in the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. This involves research and development, technical support, presentations, papers, and patents. More specific areas include: chemistry, drilling, stimulation, and well engineering, production and completion engineering, physical chemistry, formation chemistry, geology chemistry, knowledge and information management, reservoir engineering, SAGD, and computer simulations of all areas.

Eugene is active in the Oilfield community and has many projects, patents, and has been on the ACPA Board of Directors. He has created and presented many courses. 

Computer experience includes main programming languages such as Xojo (cross platform), Python, Visual Studio C/C++, .NET, Java, and Visual Basic. Specialized areas of programming include: OpenGL, Windows Registry, C++ Declares, VBA and Remote Microsoft Word and Excel programming, Raspberry Pi 2, 3, and 3 B+ electronics, HTML CSS and JavaScript, JSON, Access Database, Object Oriented Programming, C++ Plugins (DLL's), XML, SQLite Database, PostgreSQL Database, Canvas Graphics, Web Programming and more. Along with the many published books, he works with Networks (Windows and Mac), website development (Joomla, Dreamweaver, etc.) and creates many databases for reports and critical operations along with STM (Science, Technology,and Mathematics) simulations.
